The 32nd Biennial Trinidad and Tobago Music Festival continues at Queenâs Hall, St Annâs where from the youth to elders are delivering superb performances delighting those who are attending. On Wednesday, however, adjudicator Dorothy Howden, cautioned participants in Class JR-A7 Girls Vocal 13-15 Years, about their lack of energy and pitch. Howden said some of the singing was flat and lacked energy. âIn order to sing properly you need a lot of physical energy. You need to get much more into it. However, If you do too much energy it becomes sharp, so youâve got to use a lot of musical intelligence and a lot of listening to yourself,â Howden said.
